Pray for Grant

Friday, Oct. 9 - 1:15 p.m.

Well, things are still heading in the right direction. Grant is getting his last round of this round of chemo right now and so far so good. Assuming he does not spike a fever or have any weird side effect, we will be tearing out of here at 6:30 p.m. tonight! We can not wait! We love seeing all the familiar faces up here, but when we can go home and be "normal" we can not wait to go.

We should be able to be home for 16 days before the big bad ARAC round of chemo begins. I pray that we get to stay home, that Grant's counts don't go too far down, that he does not get sick, and that he does not spike a fever during these next 16 days. The next round will cause fevers and we may end up staying in here for two weeks - so I home and pray we get the next 16 days at home with peace and ease.

Thanks again to everyone who has donated to the walk this weekend. I have made shirts for those that are walking with us and a banner. We will carry red balloons for Grant and Gold for those that have passed on. It should be a wonderful night. It is not too late to join us. Please let me know if you plan on walking with us if you have not already and I will get you registered.

Thanks agian for all your support!!!
