Well, we have had a great couple of days. It is so nice to be home. Grant seems to be getting stronger everyday. Today, he was able to hold his own weight and was able to crawl. It seems like such a minor thing to those reading this, but for us, it is huge! It is showing us that the steroids are wearing off and his muscles are starting to work again.

On Friday, David and I went to the movies and on Saturday we went out to dinner to celebrate his 42nd birthday. We had a great time and it was so nice to focus on something other than Grant's condition. Today, Jordan, our sitter, came over for a few hours so Claire and I could go out for some "girl time." We had a wonderful time. We picked out presents for her Aunt Mary Beth and Aunt Ashley and then went to lunch with some friends. Then we went to the MudPie Company to paint. She loved every second of it. Tomorrow she will head to Waco for a week to stay with ther grandparents while we head to our 1st of 11 hospital stays before the end of the year. She is getting spoiled rotten! We are letting her sleep in our bed tonight!! She is toooo excited!!

Like I said above, Grant will be checking into the hospital for a 6-day stay on Wednesday. He is starting his 2nd phase of treatment that will last for 6 months. It is pretty harsh. Please pray that he handles everything okay and continues to respond to treatment. I can't wait to see where his blood counts are. I am obsessed with them now!
