Pray for Grant

Good Morning! I am snuggled up in bed with my two monkeys who are feasting on Crunch Berry cereal and watching their morning shows. Today we take Grant in to check his counts, receive a breathing treatment, and get the N1H1 shot. I can't wait to see his numbers. If they are open again on Wednesday, I will likely take him in to see if his counts are increasing so that I do not have to worry about them over Thanksgiving. I am also going to try to get an appointment with my GP to see about getting on some type of anti-anxiety medication. I hate feeling nervous all the time. I keep waiting for the bottom to drop out again.

Grant is getting stronger everyday. Yesterday he took a few steps without me even being near him. Claire was upstairs playing with him and she screamed in delight when he walked from his train table to the play kitchen. He is building confidence! Yeah!!!!

Yesterday the Mother's Against Cancer came by and gave Grant a trophy. He was represented by one of the drivers at a car race and his driver won. It was so sweet. It is a huge trophy and he loves having it in his room. We are so looking forward to the Mother's Against Cancer Luncheon on Dec. 7th. From what I understand their are tickets still available if you would like to attend. The tickets for individuals are $50.00.

I probably will not update this until after Thanksgiving, so I want to wish everyone a very happy time with his or her families. Thanks again for all your continued support and prayers!
