Well, there is a slim chance, but we may be able to go home this afternoon. Our Dr. is running Grant's CBC one more time right now to see if his ANC has come up since this morning. If it has, we are out of here. I so badly want to get him home. David leaves tomorrow until Wed and I would love for all of us to be under one roof and enjoy this beautiful weather together. I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed!

I had a wonderful day with Claire yesterday. David stayed with Grant Friday night and I headed home and stayed with Claire until late yesterday afternoon. She and I had our nails done and went to do a little shopping. We had a great "girls day."" We picked up dinner for David and Grant and ate together in the cafeteria area. It was nice to all be together and it was so good for Claire and I to have that time together.

Last night the Drs. decided to give Grant IVIG therapy. I am still sort of foggy on exactly what this is, but basically it COULD help him with his neuropathy. I hope so. The IVIG is an immunoglobolin (sp?). Normally, this IG is in our blood stream and attaches itself to foreign objects so the white blood cells can attack them. Apparently they use IVIG in infant High Risk protocol. There is a 50/50 chance it will work. I think it is worth a shot. He seemed a little stronger today for what that is worth.

Okay, they have had Grant's blood for about 20 minutes. I will start to bug the nurse in the next 10 to see if his results are back and if we are headed home. XXXXXXX - Fingers crossed!!!!!
