Yesterday was a great day. Grant was his old self and had tons of energy. He also decided that he likes food again. It was starting to worry me, but he is much better now.

This morning they did the spinal tap and administered chemo. Grant did great DURING the spinal but not so great AFTER. The medicine that they gave him to make him sleepy did not wear off well. He went nuts and started screaming at me. The Dr wanted him to lay flat for 1 hour so he did not get a spinal headache. Well, Grant was soooo angrey at me for making him stay down. So for 40 minutes Grant kicked, punched and screamed at me. Totally out of character for him. He busted every blood vessel in his face and finally wore himself out and fell asleep. It was terrible!!!! I hope he wakes up in a much better mood.

I believe we will get to go home tomorrow! I can not wait. Grant's ANC was 100 this morning and all his numbers are heading upward. The monocyte number was at 19 which means the ANC will take a dramatic jump up tomorrow. I can't wait. I bet it is close to 1000 tomorrow.

Got to go. Grants up!
