Well we are officially checked in to TX Children's again. We are in room 30 and expect to be her until Thursday. We are in isolation because of the threat that he may have an infection that could spread to the other kids here. This is terrible because he can not leave the room this time to go play or walk around the floor. Also, all the staff has to wear masks when they come in our room because Grant has been exposed to the Mumps in the recovery room on May 26th. Apparently there was a staff member that came down with the Mumps when he was in there. Uhhhh....

Anyway - They gave Grant antibiotics all night - just in case he has an infection. Last night they checked his blood again and determined that his sodium levels were too low. They gave him a sodium solution and then tested again. Apparently it went down, not up, so they gave him a stronger solution. Their fear is that he could have a seisure if it goes too low. We will find out tonight if bacteria has started to grow on day one. If not, they will check it again tomorrow night. So, we will be here at least until Thursday.

The Dr.s are all very confused on what the spots are on his stomach. They do not think they are a rash - rather something vascular. They will run a whole bunch more tests today.

As always, I'll keep you posted.

Claire is home!! And she will spend part of the day at David's office and part of the day up here with us.
