Pray for Grant

What a long day!!! We are back to waiting again. Today we waited to be seen, waited to have the port accessed, waited three hours to get the spinal chemo, waited for our room in the hospital, waited for dinner, waited for meds and are now waiting for more chemo and a blood transfusion. But, with all this waiting comes being with Grant and his GREAT mood. He is FULL OF HIMSELF today! He has actually been pretty funny! He is smiling at all the nurses and pointing at all the people he recogizes.  He has called me "stupid poopy mommy" several times and just falled out laughing like that was the funniest thing in the world to call me.

His counts today were AWESOME! Other than needing red blood, his white count is normal, his platelet count is really normal and his ANC count is in the middle of normal for a healthy person. (This is the one that tells us what his ability to fight infection is.) All these counts WILL drop because of the chemo, but it is great to see that his body is doing what God meant for it to do.

Well, not much more to report right now. We are going to try to get some sleep before all the other chemo begins tonight! So far so good!
